How to brew
Hot or iced
Spearmint is delicate, so keep the simmer short.
- Boil one cup of water About 200 ml.
- Add a level teaspoon Simmer for 1 minute.
- Cover and rest Flame off, lid on, 3 minutes.
- Strain and sip Warm, or cooled over ice.

Does it have caffeine?
No. There is no tea leaf in it.
Why two cups a day?
Spearmint tea is traditionally taken twice a day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon is easy to keep to.
Can I drink it iced?
Yes. Brew it, cool it and pour it over ice. Add a squeeze of lemon if you like.
Is spearmint the same as pudina?
Yes. The pudina in Indian kitchens is spearmint (*Mentha spicata*). Peppermint is a sharper, cooler cousin.
Can I drink it if I'm pregnant or on medication?
No, not in pregnancy, while trying to conceive, or while breastfeeding. On any regular medication, ask your doctor first.
