Curd Rice Recipe
Rice Kanji is a natural homemade probiotics made with rice, water and homemade curds (dahi), This is a good old traditional recipe passed from generations to keep a healthy gut. This homemade rice kanji is very simple to make and works well on digestive system by improving digestive enzymes.
- Take a airtight glass bowl / earthen claypot & add 1 cup leftover rice, 1/2cup warm milk, 1/4th cup water, 2tbsp of curd.
- Mix well.
- Add 2 green chillies, 1/4th cut onion (small)
- Now let it sit for 6-8 hours. After that chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- Add a tarka 1tsp ghee, mustard seeds, hing, urad dal & curry leaves. Add on top, mix & make your gut.
